Which class should I take next?
If you have successfully completed our Beyond Basics Level 2 or received your training level assessment, start with our FOUNDATION LEVEL classes. Your instructor or evaluator can also make some specific recommendations depending on your interests or goals. Check our Schedule page for current class availability.

What are FOUNDATION classes?
Our entry level 3 classes are the necessary foundation classes for more advanced training and all the dogs sports.

  • Advanced Manners if you are interested in obedience training and overall better manners out and about, or if your goal is the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certifications, Rally or Competition Obedience.

  • Dog Sports FUNdamentals is a prerequisite for those interested in any of the dog “sports”... Agility, Flyball, Treibball, Rally Obedience and Freestyle.

  • Clicker Skills complements all venues. Our instructing staff recommends attending all of entry level 3 classes for the best well-rounded training education for you and your dog.

I've taken classes elsewhere. Where do I start?
If your early training was done with another organization or school, contact us for a Training Level Assessment before you enroll. We will help you determine which class to get started with.

I've met the requirements for the class, how do I enroll?
Check the Advanced Training schedule for a listing of current classes. Click on the advanced online registration link to register for a class.

Do I have to apply for membership to take advanced classes at DTCCC?
No. You may enroll in most classes as a non member. But if your interest is in continued training then a training membership makes good economic sense. For more information: MEMBERSHIP
