Basic Manners - Level 1

For any puppy or dog 5 months of age or older with no prior formal training.

Length: Classes meet for one hour, once a week, for six weeks.

Fee: $150. $130 (with coupon) for DTCCC Kindergarten Puppy Training grads. $75 for DTCCC training members.

Level 1 graduates receive a $20 discount coupon toward the level 2 class.

Learn to teach your dog to pay attention when asked. How to teach Sit, Down, Stay, Come, and Walking on Leash, Hand Signals and Giving up objects. Address bad habits early. Learn how to prevent or eliminate undesirable behaviors such as jumping up, inappropriate chewing, stealing, and more.

Learn the fundamentals of positive reinforcement training techniques and effective canine communication.
