I am fortunate
to have arrived at a place in life where I do something I truly love and
have a passion for- helping people with their dogs! Currently owned and
trained by six golden retrievers and one cat, I teach classes at the Dog
Training Club of Chester County, in Exton Pennsylvania. I also counsel
private clients through my own training business, City Zen Canine Training.
Being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer requires that I maintain a
level of education through Continuing Education, and am in constant contact
with other pet professional trainers throughout the country. After training
dogs and competing for most of my life, positive training is the only
thing that makes sense!
I love working with my own dogs, whether in agility, field, therapy dogs, demos or commercial work. Currently I am training and showing three of my own dogs in agility and conformation. Over many years my dogs have been my best teachers and companions, and truly inspire me to work to improve people and animal communications and relations. I have had the good fortune of attending the San Francisco SPCA Academy of Dog Training, and received my Certificate of Counseling after an intensive program taught by Jean Donaldson and her talented staff, am excited to be able to share what I have learned with you.
