Lynne Young, CPDT

I currently have 2 Sheltie partners and best friends that I train and show in herding, obedience, rally, K9 Nose Work, and therapy work. I have been showing in obedience for 21 years. I have been very blessed with sharing my life with many incredible dog buddies, and training mentors.

I am certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy, am a certified evaluator for Therapy Dogs International, and I am now an Associate Nose Work Instructor. I received 5 years of wonderful training from being an area coordinator for the Guiding Eyes for the Blind Puppy Raising Program. I also attended Camp Gone to the Dogs for 10 years and learned from top trainers such as Patti Ruzzo, Leslie Nelson, Sue Sternberg, and others.

I am a positive trainer, and base much of my philosophy on the above trainers, and Ted Turner of Sea World who was giving exciting seminars to dog trainers when I was just starting out.

When I am not teaching at DTCCC I give in-home pet, and therapy dog training lessons for dogs and puppies in Wilmington, Delaware.
