Becoming a member of DTCCC offers many benefits to those interested in advanced training on an ongoing basis. A variety of venues from advanced obedience and dog sports, as well as fun and specialty classes are offered under our training membership program.
What is a Training Membership?
A Training Membership is “package fee” paid at time of application or renewal which covers your attendance in our advanced training classes for the membership year. Some of our dog sports venues have separate fees. Your Training Membership entitles you to the discounted rates on introductory levels of Agility, Flyball, K9 Nose Work, and Treibball, as well as seminars, training workshops, or other special events. And if you add a new puppy or adult dog to your family, fees are half price for pet classes KPT thru Level 2.
To be eligible for membership, you must first have completed basic training through our Beyond Basics Level 2 class. For owners with a dog who has completed basics classes with another organization, may qualify through a Training Assessment. Contact us for more information.
Are there any other requirements for Membership?
Because DTCCC is a non profit organization run by member volunteers, some help with a volunteer activity of your choice is asked for and greatly appreciated. Attendance at our quarterly member meetings, while not required, is encouraged to keep you in the know as well as an opportunity to meet your fellow members.
Membership Dues and Training Fees
Dues for Regular and Senior members are $50/year. Junior members $20/year. Members desiring training privileges must pay a training fee. See application for current rates.
