Joan Forry, CPDT-KA, CTC
Joan is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed). She is an Honors Graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers, where she earned her CTC. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional, and an AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluator.
Joan lives with her husband, Ryan, and their six dogs: Mulligan (American Staffordshire Terrier/Great Pyrenees mix), Paloma (Chihuahua), Miles (Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix), Thelma (Russell-type terrier mix), Gus (Chihuahua mix), and Tycho (Border Collie/Siberian Husky mix). They also have a cat named Lucy and a rabbit named Burton Bananapants.
Joan loves teaching tricks, puppy kindergarten, and cooperative care behaviors. She competes in Rally Obedience with her dog, Gus. When she’s not training dogs, she is working on her ongoing photography project called Miles on Hydrants.
