We offer daytime, evening and weekend mini manners sessions.
Class fees and availability can be found by clicking on the class listing posted in the schedule box. Schedules are updated regularly. New clients will need an account with us prior to enrollment. Click on My Account to set up your account.
Sessions are six weeks in length. Your class will meet once a week (same day and time) for one hour. There may be breaks in the schedule due to holidays, weather cancellations or other special events. Classes and schedules may be subject to change or cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
Classes are taught by one instructor with an assistant and are limited to six (due to COVID restrictions) which encourages personal attention and instruction. Ask us about private instruction options.
The family member who spends the most time with your dog should handle the dog in classes. Due to COVID restrictions it is strongly preferred that only one handler attend class with your dog, however a second member is permitted from the same household. Children 12 or older are permitted to train but must be accompanied by an adult family member and account for both handlers allowed per dog. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the building at this time.
LEASHES: Dogs must be on a 4 or 6 foot leash at all times.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, NO RETRACTABLE (FLEXI) LEASHES, PLEASE.
COLLARS: Choke chains, prong collars or any type of electronic collars are not permitted!
Bring your dog to the first class on a buckle or martingale type collar. Walking harnesses such as "The Easy Walk" or "Sen-sation/Sens-ible" are also permitted, and are available for purchase in our store if you need them. Your instructor will check your equipment.
FOOTWEAR: Please wear appropriate footwear. No high heels, sandals, clogs or flip/flops.
Training Level Assessment
For all classes other than KPT and Basic Manners, if your previous training was done with another organization or school, contact us for a Training Level Assessment before you enroll. We will help you determine in which class to get started.
First time students will also be required to show proof of vaccination and current rabies.
Contact us to schedule your assessment at firstname.lastname@example.org
