Why is it that for many of us and our pets, veterinary visits evoke feelings of fear, anxiety and stress?
What if a veterinary visit could be something you and your pet look forward to?
Do you wish you knew how to make that happen for them?

This class, endorsed by AAHA (American Animal Hospital Assoc.) and taught by a Fear Free Certified Professional and DTCCC certified instructor, will you help you and your dog with information and training tools designed to improve your dog’s experience at your veterinary hospital.

Here are some of the topics covered:
  • How to recognize fear, anxiety and stress in your pet
  • Reducing Fear, anxiety and stress at the vet office
  • How to be your pets advocate - it’s okay to say “no”
  • Comfortable and safe transport to the vet office
  • The most stressful vet procedures for dogs
  • The skills you and your dog should have for a fear free vet visit

This is a 4 week session.  Week 1 is orientation without dogs.

Prerequisite: KPT or Basics for Puppies or Basic manners Level 1
Fee: $85. No discounts available for this class.
